BARBICAN & CAVALIER ARE ZONE LEADERS 11.7.2011 – Cavaliers continue their dream entry into the 2011 JNBS Masters football league when they scored a fortunate 1-0 win over Brown's Town at Vauxhall Oval on Sunday.
The only goal of the game came in the 9th minute after Brown's Town's skipper, Derrick Terrilong, spectacularly scored a diving header into his own goal in an attempted clearance. The win kept Cavalier atop zone B with 10 points from three wins and two draws.

St. George's 0 Shortwood (white) 1
Pelicans moved into second place in zone B with an emphatic 2-0 win over their old nemesis Constant Spring. Ennis Rousseau and Elvis Clarke scored for the winners in the 39th and 77th minutes, respectively.
In other zone B results, impressive newcomers Police Nationals were held to a 1-1 draw by Nautica as Mark Miller scored his 5th goal of the season for Police; Portmore Masters registered their first League win of the season when they upset the highly fancied Santos 1-0 on a fine solo run by Jeremy James in the 49th minute; Lion Kings topped Christian Ambassadors 1-0 as Dane Brown got the late game winner in the 80th minute; Packers outlasted Kush 3-2 to hand Kush their 4th loss of the season in as many games. David Johnson scored a brace for Packers.
